Are you willing to travel abroad in the United States? So, here’s what you need to know.

        The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has informed that the Test Negative for Covid 19 test, which travelers were required to do before entering the United States, is not mandatory.

But you are still recommended to wear a face mask in public places and when using public transport facilities and it is currently not mandatory to wear masks on planes, trains and other public means.

Is it possible to travel to the US during this time?

The US no longer has sanctions against specific countries regarding Covid 19. Non-US citizens, US nationals, Permanent residents, or Green card holders must be vaccinated before entering.

A full vaccination is not required for people under 18 years of age.

While there are no restrictions on domestic travel within the United States, the CDC recommends that all domestic travelers get tested for Covid 19 as close to their departure date as possible.

What are the restrictions?

You must have received the second dose (or only the single dose) within 14 days of your arrival in the United States to confirm that you have been fully vaccinated.

The vaccine received must be one approved by the US Federal Drug Administration or included in the Emergency Use Listing of the World Health Organization.
